National Bureau of Statistics: China is in a state of mild aging.

  On May 17, Fu Linghui, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, said in response to the latest population data that China is currently in a state of mild aging.

  Fu Linghui said that there are some misunderstandings in the society, and many people think that China has entered a deeply aging society. In fact, there is a general understanding in the world that a country’s population over 60 years old accounts for more than 10% of the total population, and this country has entered an aging society. Between 10% and 20%, it is mildly aging, between 20% and 30%, it is moderately aging, and over 30% is severely aging.
