In terms of appearance, the new headlight group has been updated, and the internal light source adopts HD Matrix (high definition matrix) technology. The light group has a pixel array composed of more than 32,000 LED light sources, which can be selected and changed according to the actual environment. The high beam range of the new car exceeds 600 meters, bringing better visual visibility. In addition, the front surround of the new car has also been newly designed. The through-type heat dissipation opening is matched with the longitudinal ventilation openings on both sides, making it have a more excellent aerodynamic effect.
From the side of the body, the new car still maintains the traditional coupe body shape of the Taycan. In terms of batteries, the maximum charging current of the mid-term replacement Taycan vehicle battery has been increased by 20%, the battery weight has been reduced by 9kg, and the total energy density (high-voltage battery) has been increased by 13%. According to official data, the peak charging power of the new car can reach 320kW, and it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. With an optimized thermal management system, the charging time in a low temperature environment is reduced by nearly half.
