Typhoon Meihua, the strongest typhoon, is expected to enter the East China Sea on the 13th.

According to the news of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the 12th typhoon "Meihua" this year was strengthened to typhoon level this morning (10th). Its center was located on the ocean surface about 610 kilometers southeast of Taipei, Taiwan Province at 5 pm (21.2 degrees north latitude and 125.7 degrees east longitude). The maximum wind force near the center was 13 (38m/s), the lowest pressure in the center was 965 hectopascals, and the radius of the seven-level wind circle was 20. 300 kilometers, the radius of the tenth wind circle is 70 kilometers, and the radius of the twelfth wind circle is 30 kilometers.

It is estimated that "Plum Blossom" will grow at the rate of 10-mdash per hour; The speed of 15 kilometers moves to the northwest, and the intensity gradually increases, and the strongest can reach the strong typhoon level (45-mdash; 50m/s, 14— Level 15), after crossing the Ryukyu Islands, it turned to move northward, entered the East China Sea around the early morning of the 13th, and gradually approached the east China coast, with the intensity slowly weakening.

Starting from September 14th, "Meihua" will accelerate to the north-west direction in the East China Sea. According to the analysis of the latest ensemble forecast results released by supercomputer, Meihua will approach the coastal area of Zhejiang after entering the East China Sea, and the possibility of landing directly in the coastal area of East China will not be ruled out in the later stage.

Even if "Meihua" doesn’t land on the coast of East China in the future, it is expected to be farther west than the last typhoon "Xuanlannuo". Although the intensity of "Meihua" is not as good as that of "Xuanlannuo", it is expected that the influence of "Meihua" on the wind and rain in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai will probably be greater than that of "Xuanlannuo" because it is closer to the coastal areas of Zhejiang and Shanghai and combined with the influence of cold air.

13— On the 17th, Zhejiang Province was affected by Typhoon Meihua, and the rain began to increase, especially from 14 to mdash; On the 15th, moderate to heavy rain is expected in eastern Zhejiang.
