According to Indian media reports, on July 25th, local time, the government of Maharashtra in western India said that at least 149 people were killed, 50 injured and some people were missing.
The Maharashtra government also said that nearly 230,000 people in the disaster area have been transferred to safe areas. At present, many rescue teams from India’s National Disaster Emergency Response Force, Maharashtra Disaster Emergency Response Force, Navy, Army and Coast Guard are still carrying out rescue.
