Russia opposes pulling banners in front of Park Palace and demands Putin to step down (Photos)




  International Online Special: According to the Russian News Network, members of the Russian opposition "Unity Movement" held a massive anti-government demonstration in front of the Kremlin on April 28. During this period, three activists of the "Unity Movement" hung a huge red banner on the bank of the river near the Kremlin, which read: "medvedev, resigned as Prime Minister Putin." Red balloons are tied on both sides of the banner, and the logo of "Unity Movement" is printed on the lower part of the banner.


  The members of the "Unity Movement" were so sophisticated that the demonstrations were organized in an orderly manner that the police in Moscow did not get the news of the demonstrations in advance and failed to effectively stop their behavior. On the same day, the leaders of the Solidarity Movement also held a meeting with supporters of the Solidarity Movement at the Izmailovo Hotel. At the meeting, the leaders of the "Unity Movement" summarized the work in the past two months, introduced the situation of Boris nemtsov’s team running for the mayor of Sochi, and predicted the organizational activities during the "5 9" Victory Day.


  In recent weeks, members of the opposition "Unity Movement" have held many social activities. On April 12th, members of the "Unity Movement" and other members of the opposition held a rally against compulsory military service. On April 8, when the former president of Yukos Khodorkovsky and lebedev were tried by the Nicesco court in Khamov, some members of the opposition party were arrested for distributing leaflets in front of the court, including several members of the "Unity Movement".
